We are staffed with a team of skilled veterinarians, technicians, and assistants to help manage whatever illness or injury your pet is dealing with. Our facility is up-to-date and was completely remodeled before we opened in May of 2023. We are equipped with many tools that allow us to diagnose, stabilize, and treat the patients who come through our doors.

The following are some of the reasons your pet might need to visit us:

  • Trauma
  • Vomiting and/or diarrhea
  • Lack of appetite
  • Lethargy
  • Toxin ingestion
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Bite wounds
  • Lacerations
  • Collapse
  • Seizures
  • Coughing
  • Bleeding
  • Limping
  • Urination changes
  • Ear infections
  • Torn toenails

Please keep in mind this is not a complete list and we are willing to see your pet for any concern you may have.

When you arrive at our facility, our first concern is making sure your pet is stable. Any animal that is deemed unstable is brought to the treatment room immediately for complete assessment and stabilization measures. If your pet is stable, there may be a wait depending on the status of the other patients in the facility. Our goal is to minimize wait times as much as possible, but please remember that emergencies happen and any pet that is in need of immediate care to survive will be addressed first.

Once the exam is performed, one of our veterinarians will discuss with you any significant findings and the options moving forward. We will always recommend the best medicine possible but want to work with you and your family to discuss options and figure out what works best for you and your pet.

How are we different than an emergency veterinarian?

In truth, all of our veterinarians have extensive experience in emergency veterinary settings are are comfortable with true emergencies. That being said, if your pet requires ongoing hospitalization, we do not offer 24 hour services and would need to transfer your pet to another hospital for ongoing care. We also do not have any specialists and may recommend referral to a specialty center for additional diagnostics and management of your pet's condition. Additionally, unlike some emergency rooms, we have the ability to see cases same day that are not true emergencies (i.e. ear infections, skin issues, UTIs, etc.).
